★ Featured Asset
The Burntwax FPS Demo is a production-ready first-person shooter foundation built in Unity. It provides a modular, extensible set of systems for player movement, camera control, weapons, impact effects, and save/loading — all built on a consistent hierarchical state machine architecture.
In Development
Back to the basics: A story-driven FPS where you wield electromagnetic technology against evolving alien threats. A game with unique mechanics, yet reminicent of the classics like Half-Life, Bioshock, and Doom.
Gloves, boots, and a katana. All unique abilities built by your character with electromagnetic technology.
Fluid movement mechanics inspired by the best FPS games. Sprint, wallrun, and leap through environments.
Aliens and other enemies that adapt to your playstyle through machine learning, forcing you to constantly switch tactics.
Visual and hands-on storytelling. We don't believe in custscenes or taking control away from the player, so we tell the story using the game's environment and other cues.
The Journey
Follow our progress as we build. Updates on mechanics, art, and everything in between.
The Team
We're two friends who are passionate about making fun and immersive games. After growing up with many classic FPS titles but watching the gaming industry stagnate, we took up the task of creating our own game that lives up to the legacy of those classics. Along the way, we built tools and systems to help us iterate faster and create higher-quality mechanics, which we now publish on the Unity Asset Store. Our goal is to use the revenue from our assets to fund the development of our game, while also sharing our knowledge and tools with the community. We hope to inspire other indie developers to take on ambitious projects and push the boundaries of what's possible in game development.
